Atelier Marina Marin was born from the meeting of excellence in artisanal tailoring and the experience gained within the most prestigious international fashion maisons.
My name is Marina Marin and for over twelve years I have been turning ideas, fabrics and details into garments that speak of quality, precision and personality. My journey began long before it became a profession: tailoring has always been my greatest passion. When I was very young I left Romania to move to Italy, where I built, day after day, a path made of study, experience and a constant pursuit of excellence.
Over the course of my career I have worked with leading luxury and premium companies and brands, taking part in the creation of prototypes, sample collections, one-off pieces, fittings, photo shoots, runway shows and quality control. I have had the privilege of working, among others, with Tod's, Etro, Ports 1961, Woolrich, Tom Ford, Roger Vivier, Cartier, Prada, Loro Piana, Hermès, Chanel, Canali and numerous productions for the world of entertainment and communication.
Every project is approached in the same way: listen, understand and create. Whether it is a complex repair, a made-to-measure garment, the development of a pattern or the creation of a prototype, every detail is handled with the utmost artisanal precision.
The atelier combines traditional tailoring skills with professional pattern making, working on light and structured fabrics, leather, fur and technical materials, using professional machinery and hand techniques that deliver the highest-level results.
I work with private clients, designers, companies and fashion maisons, offering a discreet, reliable, quality-driven service, in full respect of timelines and the standards required by the luxury sector.
For me, tailoring does not simply mean making a garment. It means enhancing a person, interpreting an idea, solving complex problems and shaping something meant to last over time.
